Debt Recovery

Unpaid invoices slowing your business down? We’ve got your back.

Our service

Take the hassle out of debt recovery. On your behalf, we make demand for payment in full, contact the debtor to discuss a repayment plan, and monitor payments as they come in — moving to legal action only once the debtor has had every opportunity to pay. Our whole team approach means we can move seamlessly from usual debt recovery channels to taking legal action to ensure your debt is paid, with a competitive fee structure and no commission charged.

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost to recover a debt?

Get in touch for a no-obligation quote based on your situation.

How long does debt recovery take?

Most debts are resolved without going to court, often within 4 weeks of the first formal demand. Timeframes depend on the debtor’s responsiveness and whether legal proceedings become necessary.

Will the debtor know I've contacted a lawyer?

Yes — a formal letter of demand from us is usually the first step, and it’s often the push needed to prompt payment. We can discuss how direct or discreet you’d like the approach to be.

Do I need to have already sent a demand letter myself?

No. We can start from scratch, whether you’ve already tried to collect the debt yourself or are getting in touch straight away.

What happens if the debtor still doesn't pay?

We’ll talk you through your options, which may include a statutory demand, filing in the Disputes Tribunal or District Court — only if you want to proceed to that stage.

Can you recover debts owed by individuals and businesses?

Yes, we act for both — recovering debts from individual customers, business clients and companies.

Can I talk to someone directly?

Yes. You can contact Margaret directly on 03 211 1392, or complete the enquiry form
