At some point in a lifetime, you can almost always find yourself in at least one situation where you’re needing legal support. Because this can be a bit of a daunting exercise for many, especially when you don’t know what to expect, finding someone who can guide you through it in the simplest of ways is a must — that’s Sam’s job. Dealing directly with clients, listening to the issues they’re needing resolved, and coming up with a plan that takes the work out of their hands and into his is what he does best.

Growing up with a mother who was a lawyer arguably made the desire to help people an innate quality of Sam’s. After finishing his law degree in Auckland, the deep south called him to share his expertise with PRLaw. Sam’s philosophy is that you should never be hesitant to reach out for help — that’s what he’s here for.

Experience

Sam studied at Victoria University before switching to the Auckland University of Technology part way through his law degree. Despite having little connection to Southland, since moving down here, he’s found himself loving the attitudes of the region’s people and all the surrounding sites there are to see. An avid tramper, Sam reckons there’s no better place to get stuck into the outdoors than Southland and the locations just outside of it. He’s also on the PRLaw basketball team and is always up for an event hosted by the Southland New and Young Practitioners group.
