Shauna Bamford

Shauna Bamford is a solicitor in our Property and Litigation teams. Shauna’s particular experience is in property law and family law.
Family Law
Shauna provides legal assistance (including legal aid) on all family related matters, and regularly appears in the Family Court. These matters include issues relating to care of children, domestic violence and protection orders, paternity issues, guardianship issues, and relationship property disputes.
Property Law
Shauna assists Sarah McKenzie and John Flaus in the Property team on all property law matters. This includes rural and residential conveyancing, leases, finance, trusts wills and Enduring Powers of Attorney.
Litigation
As a member of the litigation team, Shauna often assists in a wide range of civil litigation matters including property related disputes, bankruptcy and liquidation proceedings and frequently appears in the District and High Court on many civil matters.
Shauna graduated from the University of Otago with a double degree and joined the firm in June 2009. Returning to Southland to practise law was an instinctive choice as Shauna is a born and bred southlander. Shauna loves the Southland lifestyle and enjoys making the most of the outdoors as often as possible.
